Building Capacity Workshop

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This workshop is designed to strengthen the team and allow participants to recognize their full potential. We will discuss and take into account that every member comes into the organization with prior knowledge and experience; these strengths will be celebrated and in that we will discuss how each participant can use their individual strengths to support the team.

Everyone on a team possesses skills, abilities, talents, and experiences waiting to be tapped and in some cases further cultivated; we will explore what that looks like during day-to-day workplace operations. We will explore the changes and challenges that may interrupt team dynamics, and how to navigate workplace stress. Additionally, we will discuss the importance of culture and climate in the workplace and its connection to extrinsic and intrinsic motivation.

This workshop is designed to define team and team-building by use of activities and unpacking sessions. Team-building activities are developed to help foster vision, connectedness and collaboration. Through the use of fun and engaging activities individuals will see each other in a different light allowing them to connect with different capacities.

Intended for all audiences. Participants will learn team building techniques that they will be able to turn-key for their own individual teams.
