In theory, all the IT domains are very similar. However, the reality is slightly different. This is starting from the technical meaning of the words, best practices, life cycles, not to mention the type of stakeholders. In my case it was ERP domain in a regulated environment where  most of the stakeholders have heard about software testing, they may have even been testing themselves, but have never employed, or worked with, dedicated skilled software testers. The story I am going to share will be about introducing the testing improvements in such domain.

Key Learning 1:  The ideas for challenging the status quo and implementing the change in a new domain.

Key learning 2: How following passion for improvement, individuals can apply new methodologies to gain better results, even when regulated environments are challenging.

Key learning 3:  How to get inspired by entering a new software community to broaden your expertise and knowledge.
