Robert started his professional journey as a QA (Quality Assurance) Software Tester by graduating from the Per Scholas Software Testing Education Program (STEP) in his professional life Robert has held different jobs in diverse fields and industries. In his opinion transitioning into software testing was one of the best career choices he has ever made.
he's passionate about futurism, science fiction and its role in providing inspiration for Society.
He is fascinated by Artificial Intelligence (machine learning), cryptography and the most recent news about the latest advances in quantum computing.
He has a deep interest in the latest trends involving the software development life cycle as well as software testing in general. Since 2016 he works at the New York Public Library's Adult Learning Center where he teaches a basic computer skills class to reduce the digital literacy gap among adult immigrants from low-income communities in the Bronx
He evaluates the best use of his time at a regular basis by being a part of great meetup groups like GTD (Getting Things Done) NYC, the NYC Productivity Hackers as well as several Software Testing and Artificial Intelligence Meetup Groups. He is an Alumnus of the Streetwise Partners career program, a member of JCI (Junior Chamber International) NYC and the Google Developer Group (GDG) Meetup in the Bronx. In the past, he has volunteered for organizations like New York Cares and WIBO (workshop in business opportunities). In his spare time, he enjoys going to language exchange Meetup groups, reading good books or playing new exciting board games.
He also likes writing, participating in stimulating intellectual conversations, finding new streams of income and public speaking groups like Toastmasters. he lives in New York City.
